Yes "Another Whisky Blog"

So it starts…………

Yes you might say “another bloody blog about whisky!!”

Well the answer is yes another bloody blog about whisky, why? Well its simple this is more of a diary of my opinion about an interest, a hobby, a passion, etc. etc. I start by saying I am not an expert or collector, I am a novice drinker who enjoys a wee dram or 2.

Hailing from Scotland, Whisky is what I grew up with, some bad and some great experiences, as I grow older it becomes more enjoyable and can be appreciated more. So onto Asia, there are many challenges here in Asia for the wee dram lover, the biggest is the availability of a lot of bottling’s and the other is taxes, Oh yes being an ex-colony her majesty’s tax man left a number of interesting things behind in Hong Kong when they left. 

Since I reside in Asia and enjoy the dram and as there is not too much on the webs whisky blogs about where to get a Dram and where to purchase a bottle in Asia, I thought here would be a good start and see where we go from there.

So I will be writing about the wee drams that I have, drams I buy, drams I drink, drams I taste, drams I share, dram tastings I attend, dram news, drams bars I visit, etc. etc., so everything about the wee dram.

The info I share could sometimes be a load of pish and of no use to anyone, but there is one guarantee. That is that there will be no crap about “oh how many bottles do you have” or “oh what’s the oldest bottle” that’s for sure!
